Wax Tips

For your absolute best results please take time to read these before and after treatment recommendations!

​Pre Wax

1) Hair should be at least 1/4" long, that's about the length of a grain of rice.

2) Don't apply creams, lotions, or gels to the area that is going to be waxed the day of the appointment.

​3) Don't sunbath 24 hours before or after the treatment. Tanning before treatment can cause skin to lift.

4)If you have a low pain tolerance, take an Advil or ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment.

​5) Wear comfortable underwear if getting a Brazilian or Bikini wax to eliminate some of the discomfort or rubbing in that area after the treatment.


Post Wax

​​1) Do not sunbath for at least 24 hours after treatment- Tanning afterwards can cause irritation or even sunburn.

​2) No swimming pools, Saunas, or hot tubs. The Chlorine in the water can cause irritation and redness to the area.

​3) Shower immediately after working out to keep follicles clean and clear.

​4) Moisturize the area daily with natural scentless lotion.

​5) Gently exfoliate every three days at least with a loofa and mild soap.

6) If you are prone to ingrown or bumps, you can use a in-grown/ roll on treatment (Sold in Wax bar).
